Your son/daughter is interested in representing Penguin District School at an event called Kakka, which is organised by the Don College Outdoor Leadership class.

This event will be held on Wednesday 23 October from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm at Don College in Devonport. Students will return to school before the normal dismissal time.

The team competition (3 people) involves a 1.1km paddle in the Don River (kayak and safety equipment provided), a mountain bike through the Don Reserve (student’s own bike or the school’s), a 5km run surrounding the Don College campus and an obstacle course that all 3 people complete.

Students should wear their school polo top as uniform on this day and come prepared with food, drink and a change of clothes. Socks and shoes will likely get wet and muddy.
