The Emperor Penguins played Sacred Heart Red this week. We scored two goals which were kicked by Hayley and Maggie. Unfortunately, Sacred Heart won but we gave it our best. Thankyou Maggie and Willow for filling in.

On Saturday, the Penguin Gentoos Played Sacred Heart. It was our first game of the year, we didn’t score any goals but I thought we played pretty well. We had three new recruits join our team, Tannah F from PDS and Tannah and Kate from Ulverstone. Tannah and Kate played really well for their first game playing for Penguin.

The Penguin Kings played against Leighlands on the weekend. We played really well because we were having fun! Almost all of our team were playing their first game ever – we kicked lots of goals and our goalkeeper was a bit bored because there wasn’t much to do. Jax kicked the ball, it hit the top bar then bounced off his head, through the goal keepers arms and scored a goal – it was funny.

We can’t wait to play next week!

The Penguin Rockhoppers started the soccer season a little confused – someone (Mrs. Van Essen) confused our times and some players arrived when the game was finishing. If all of our team were there, we would have done better than we did. Jax and Chase filled in for our team and we played pretty well. This week we are playing at 10am and we are looking forward to playing with our whole team!
