Kinder B
On Monday, 31May, Kinder B had a visit from Ranger John from Parks and Wildlife. After our excursion to Ferndene we wanted to learn more about the animals we find in our Tasmanian bush. Ranger John brought some very cool taxidermy animals for us to look at. He talked to us about how the different animals move, what they eat and where they live. Ranger John then took us for a walk around our school to look for evidence of animals. We found evidence (scats, holes, tracks, nests) of wallabies, Eastern Barred bandicoots, brown bandicoots, ringtail and brushtail possums and of course rabbits! We even saw a couple of wallabies in the bush part! We really learnt a lot from Ranger John!
