Congratulations to our Year 9/10 team for becoming the runners-up in their division and the Year 7/8 team for winning their grand final on the weekend. Both teams represented our school proudly and with big smiles on their faces. Thank you to both Brendan Ivory and Tish Townsend for their coaching efforts this season and to Hannah Ivory, Sharon Saggus and Karina Van Essen for being the nominated umpires.

The three Primary teams completed their season this week also. It seemed that all teams finished the season with their best performances! Thank you to Tracey Ivory, Karina Van Essen and Claire Maxwell for coaching the teams on some very cold mornings and to Chelsea Ivory, Wendy Radcliff and Angela Smedley for their umpiring efforts.

The culture that is being nurtured by the parents and families of the netball players representing our school is built around encouragement and building confidence in our young people. Thank you to all adults who have supported our teams this season by ensuring our behaviour is respectful and encouraging.

Burnie Netball Association Spring Roster is scheduled to begin September 4. Information and nomination forms will be distributed in Term 3.
