What Zone Are You In ?

Emotions are not always accurate, often we are triggered by a deepseated beliefs in ourself (- that is not true – but that’s a whole different topic)

** Some ways to get back into the right zone is…

Taking some deep Belly Breaths

Have some time to their self while they calm their thoughts

Are they tired, hungry or overwhelmed? Help them to – Slow it down -  take one step at a time.

Read a book, make a Stress ball,

Ask the parent / teacher for some help to get through this time – have a chat – and Really Listen to the Child, let them know you understand their feelings, worries etc.
