This week marks Teacher Assistant appreciation week across our schools. We know that working with young people is dynamic and ever changing – particularly in the role as teacher assistant! Our team of TA’s (as we affectionally refer to them as), work with our young people from our birth to 4 programs right through to supporting out students in catering and technology classes. Reading through their position description, simply doesn’t do their work justice! So to Renae Aherne, Chris Bugeja, Corrina Caberica, Sandra Clarke, Belinda French, Karen Helm, Katrina Olm, Belinda Jones, Jessy Jordan, Ben Keeley, Kae Keep, Bec Langham, Maree Lowrie, Marsha Lynd, Peter Martin, Lillie McPherson, Caitlin Overend, Leanne Ray and Sally Smith – in the words of one of our grade 3’s, as TA’s you are ‘Totally Awesome’.
