Last Thursday, Nick from Veolia visited us in Kinder H.

He helped us wrap up our amazing inquiry journey into recycling, inspired by Mason from KH.

Nick talked to us about the “3 R’s”: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

He took us outside and showed us how to sort rubbish. We were very knowledgeable and helped him decide which bin to put items in.

Then Matty, the driver of the recycling truck, showed us how he collected recycling bins.

We were very excited to see it all in action. 

Nick was very impressed by our Floor Book which described our journey, including setting up a worm farm in Kinder and introducing sorting bins: FOGO, lids, recycling and general waste.

It was a great incursion for Kinder H.
