Creating Masks - Year 7 Drama

In Year 7 Drama we have been learning about masks and how they have been used throughout history to communicate and entertain.  Our learning has taken us to ancient Greece and across the Torres Strait Islands.  We have learnt about theatrical neutral masks and their use in performance and mime.  Students have created and performed short neutral mask mimes.  We are currently creating our own character masks which will then be used to develop new character mime skits.
