I would like to congratulate all the students who participated in the Arts Expo last term, there were many amazing examples of our students’ artistic talents.

There were six categories, 7/8 Art, 9 Art, 10 Art, 7/8 MDT, 9/10 MDT and Drama Masks. There were 3 rounds of voting, first round was the public vote (held on Wednesday afternoon) and the second and third rounds were held on Thursday morning (a student vote and a staff vote). This allowed more students to be acknowledged as any student could only win in one round.

I would like to make a special mention of 2 students, who were clear winners in each round of their category. They are Jack N for his resin clock and Molly D for her black and white Portrait of a young woman.

9/10 MDT: Jack N, Matt M and the teacher vote was a tie so it’ll be split between Holly M and Connor D
