The 9/10 Forensic Science class had a play with creating fake blood. They then observed the behaviour of passive blood drips from different heights. Using the average diameter of the 5 best drop stains, students were able to discover a relationship in height and blood spot diameter. In the upcoming weeks students will continue to experiment with blood splatter and observe the differences created by different velocity.
