Recently, 12 students and 3 staff returned from their 14 day experience in Vietnam. While in Vietnam students completed an action packed itinerary participating in various educational, community service and leisure based activities.

Possibly the highlight for many was their participation in the house build project. Here students spent 3 days working together, to assist with the building of a small house. Each day students would work from 8am until 4pm completing basic labouring duties – all working together to get the job done. At the completion of this 3 day project, the students saw firsthand the impact it made for the family in need.

Even on the final day it was great to see all students still participating and trying their best in their final activity; the Amazing Race around Saigon. Well done, students!

I would like to personally thank all families, staff and students who contributed to the various Vietnam fundraisers. The funds raised certainly did make a difference!
