As part of an option class in Year 9 Science some students are studying the Theory of Evolution. Students created a toilet paper timeline of the world's creation and major evolutionary events. We discovered that the first life evolved before oxygen but once enough oxygen was available there were a lot of new plants and animals evolving in relatively quick succession. We were also shocked to discover that for around 68% of the earth's history the only living organisms were bacteria.
