Grade 10 have just finished a unit looking at Visual Literacy. To end the unit, students were asked to create their own piece of art and provide a blurb to explain the meaning behind it. They have learnt to analyse images focusing on the visual elements and interpreting these to find the deeper and symbolic meaning behind an image.
