Year 9 and 10 Forensic Science
Last week our Year 9/10 Forensic Science class experimented with fingerprinting. They tested carbon and talc powder on different surfaces to discover the best technique for making fingerprints identifiable. They also discussed how important fingerprinting (or dactylography) is to forensic science for crime solving as the human fingerprint is very unique with only a 1 in 64 billion chance that you will have the same fingerprint as another person.
