Year 8 Materials Design and Technology students have just completed their final project for the year.

The unit allowed all students to be introduced to, and develop some confidence with, the use of angle grinders, the Mig welder and Oxy Acetylene heating and welding processes. Well done to all students who completed their work.

Students in Year 9 have recently been completing their shaker style cabinet. Working from a set plan, the students had to use hand and power tools to manufacture their project. A design challenge was incorporated into the project, with students having to design their own door - or doors - to complement their work.
