What a messy uniform means - LIFT

I know that my uniform got really messy today but it helps to show all that I’ve been learning and what I’ve been thinking about!

Painting helps to develop my creativity and fine motor skills. Even though I wear a smock, sometimes paint finds its way onto my shorts.

This grass stain shows I’ve been exploring outside developing my physical and social skills. Fundamental movements like running and jumping help with small movements like writing.

Today I went on a search for insects outside. I lifted a log and got a bit dirty. Through this inquiry, I worked out that all the insects have 6 legs.

At recess was trying to open a tub of fruit and spilt the juice. I’m learning how to be independent by risk taking and having a go to do things by myself.

Sometimes my uniform gets a little wet. I explore lots of Maths and Science concepts while using the water play tub.

I love digging and building with dirt and sand. I’m discovering all types of new things, like how the soil colours change the deeper you dig.

This playdough has stuck to my shirt. I worked really hard to work out the best way for the playdough to join together, it helped when I kneaded the dough. I am a problem solver.

This black mark was made with a texta, I’m trying so hard to develop my writing and drawing skills.
