Principal's Report
It is hard to believe that we are in to the final two weeks of term! We know that the transition back to school has required an adjustment for everyone in our school community. Whether it be teachers adapting to increasing class numbers and working closely with students to assess their learning needs, our support staff to maintain high levels of hygiene with our COVID safety plan or our parents that have adjusted how they remain connected with their children’s teachers. We recognise that there will be times when students will require additional support to adapt back to the routines and expectations of school. Our school values and the language of our behavioural expectations are a great reference point for parents to use at home to support this transition.
Our PSR’s can form some really effective conversations at home with children about their choices; What does your PERSONAL BEST look like? How could it have been a SAFE choice? How did it show RESPECT for yourself and others?
Please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher to discuss our PSRs if you have any questions.
