PDS singlets will be distributed this week to all participants. Please ensure they are returned on Monday.

Sporting Schools – Introduction to Baseball – Free event 

We would like to extend an invitation to all students from Prep to Year 6 to participate in a two-week Introduction to Baseball program.

Miss Goninon and Mrs Van Essen will be working alongside Mr Andrew Barton from North West Baseball to deliver two fun sessions at Penguin District School.

When:              Tuesday 10 September and Tuesday 17 September.

Where:             Dial Park and the Community Learning Centre

Time:                3:15 pm  - 4:15 pm

Year 3 – 6 Swimming and Water Safety Program - September 2 - 13

Information will be sent home this week regarding the upcoming Swimming and Water Safety Program for the Year 3 – 6 students.

Good Sports

What a proud moment it was at the recent Year 5/6 Sports expo when the East Ulverstone Primary School Principal, Mr Simon Dent, recognised the spirit of sportsmanship between one of his students, Lincoln and one of our students Keegan. 

From the way they celebrated each other’s successes and checked on each other if they had a ‘spill’ had Mr Dent thinking they were long time mates; but not so – just two young men demonstrating what sport is all about – being active, being mates and having fun.
