National Reading Hour Reflections from 3/4P and 4/5F

I got to read lots of my book but my favourite part of the hour was that we got to do it with another class. – Jack

Reading used to be just reading an ordinary book, but now reading is one of my favourite things to do. No book is ordinary, every book can take you on a journey like nothing else. People put heart into books. Books can change you and make you a better person. Books and reading are more than you think. Don’t be afraid to have your head in a book. If you don’t want to read alone, read to someone. – Charlize

Reading makes me feel relaxed. I love to read because I find writing idea and I learn new words. – Gabby

When I read my book yesterday in Reading Hour, I got so engrossed in my book that I could visualise every bit. I just didn’t want to stop. – Willow

I love reading because it takes you to a different world. – Asten

I felt bored at the start, but at the end I was interested in the book. – Zander

I really liked Reading Hour because I learned jellyfish aren’t fish, they’re related to coral and sea urchins. – Mikayla

I feel connecting with book characters is important because it gives you a whole new point of view on how the characters are feeling. - Mia
