7-8 Soccor Gala Day (Participating Students)

Dear Families

Year 7/8 Soccer Gala Day – Meercroft Park, Devonport

Your child has shown an interest in the optional year 7/8 Soccer Gala Day. The day provides students with the opportunity to experience playing six-a-side soccer with their school peers against other schools.

Date:                         Thursday 11 September

Time:                        8:50 am – 2:40 pm

Venue:                      Meercroft Park, Bluff Road, Devonport

Transport:                Kerger’s Bus

Cost:                         $25.00 per student (pay to the main office).

What to bring:         School polo, shorts/tracksuit pants, footy/soccer boots, shinpads, long footy/soccer socks, packed lunch and drink (there are canteen facilities operating on the day, but do not rely on this).

It is imperative that the permission form below, with payment, is returned as soon as possible. If there have been any recent changes to medical or contact details, please contact the school office on 6434 2222.

Teams will be Year/gender based, with between 6 -10 players on each. Each team will require an adult volunteer to coach/manage the team throughout the day. If you are willing to assist (and have your WWVP registration and Safeguarding certificate), please contact the school.
