Athlete Development Program

Overview

The ADP was established in 2019 to give students an opportunity to further pursue their passion for sport during the standard school day.

Students in the program have 150min (1 x single lesson & 1 x double lesson) timetabled into their weekly schedule. This is combined with opportunities to engage in additional supervised strength and conditioning sessions and skill sessions relevant to their sport either before, during or after school with sports coaches.

Students are required to apply for the program which enables us to review their suitability for the program. Of most importance is their engagement with school as a whole (monitored through reporting measures), their participation in a sport, and their motivation to improve.

Applications for 2020 to 2022

The expression of interest and application process for current students in Years 7-9 will take place during Term 4.

Students joining the secondary campus for Year 7 in 2020 to 2022 or as a new enrolment will have an opportunity to complete the application process at the beginning of the school year.

The ADP does have a fee which contributes towards uniform, industry professionals and equipment. The fee in 2021 was $150.
