Year 10 Maths Exam

Dear Families

Year 10 Exams

We would like to make families aware that during Week 2, Term 4 students in Year 10 will undertake a series of exams.

The exams are aimed at giving students an experience that prepares them for a college or Tafe style of testing, and to provide another opportunity for assessment.

This process will also include learning about preparation techniques and revising content covered earlier in the year during Week 1 of Term 4.

Feedback from students who have transitioned to college in recent years is that this process is a valuable experience and has helped to better understand what will be expected of them in further education.

The exams will be completed in the following timeslots:

• Monday 20 October – 9:00 am - 10:30 am - English
• Tuesday 21 October – 9:00 am - 10:30 am - Science
• Wednesday 22 October – 9:00 am - 10:30 am - Maths
• Thursday 23 October – 9:00 am - 10:00 am - History
• Friday 24 October – 9:00 am - 10:00 am - Health
